What gets you out of bed in the morning? 21st century life can be tough, but Easter is the light at the end of the tunnel. And the bearer of that light is Jesus Christ himself. In dying on the cross, Christ took the consequences of our sins and selfishness on himself, and in rising from the dead, offers us hope and forgiveness, a fresh start and real hope for the future.
For Christians, each day is a gift from God thanks to the hope we have in Jesus Christ. But Easter is our favourite time of year and is definitely something to get out of bed for during this holiday weekend. The Resurrection of Christ is our fixed point of reference in an ever-changing world. And the events of this Easter celebration can provide you and your whole family with purpose, strength to face life's challenges, and confidence that the best is yet to come!
Join us at Dogsthorpe Community Centre this Easter and find out why life and hope begin at the cross ...
You can come just as you are to any service, whether it's planned or a spur of the minute decision.
If you want to let us know you are coming, though, fill out the contact form so that we can have someone waiting to give you a warm welcome and show you around. Just give us your name and email and whether you're bringing anyone else along.
If you have any kids or teenagers coming for the kids club or egg hunt on Sunday, we can let the children's workers know. But there should be plenty for everyone.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
